Starting the Walking Tour in Tbilisi

Wandering through the old town’s narrow alleys. I actively guided Judy, my eager guest, through a tapestry of architectural wonders. Each turn revealed a new facet of Tbilisi’s rich past, making history a tangible experience. Furthermore, the city’s ancient charm came alive with every step, creating an engaging narrative that captivated both of us.
Transitioning upward towards Narikala Fortress, the landscape transformed, offering mesmerizing panoramic views. The ancient charm of the fortress seamlessly blended with the modern allure of the city below. Consequently, it was a captivating journey through time, where each step uncovered a layer of Tbilisi’s history. The active exploration of this iconic landmark made the historical narrative more vivid and engaging.
Descending to Abantubani, the Sulphur Baths Area, our senses were surprised with a delightful twist. Amid ancient surroundings, Judy and I indulged in the unique experience of tasting wine and ice cream. This fusion of tradition and innovation added a sweet note to our exploration, making the journey even more memorable.
Concluding our day with a Georgian wine tasting in a local cellar, laughter echoed in the warm ambiance. It was the perfect ending to a day woven with the threads of the past and present in Tbilisi.
