Day 1 Transfer from Tbilisi Airport to Tbilisi

Your journey begins the moment you step off the plane. Navigating through an unfamiliar airport can be daunting, but fear not – our drivers and guides are here to elevate your travel experience.

Day 2 Tbilisi full day tour

We will embark on a Tbilisi full-day tour on this day. Driver will meet you in the hotel lobby and drop you off at the Old Town, where you will explore Europe Square, Narikala Fortress, the Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Mother of Georgia Monument, Sulphur Baths, Meidan Bazaar Chardin Street. (You can add Professional Guide Service during checkout)

The tour will include stops at Chardin Street, Tamada Statue, and Sioni Church, providing a comprehensive and enriching experience.

Holy Trinity Church – Sameba

After returning to your car, you will continue your tour to visit The Holy Trinity Tsminda Sameba Cathedral, often referred to as the symbol of the new Georgia, which stands as a testament to both beauty and grandeur. Positioned on the hill of St. Ilya on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, the cathedral is a breathtaking sight with impressive dimensions. Sameba holds the distinction of being the tallest church in Georgia, soaring to a height of 101 meters.

The cathedral is an integral part of a larger complex, which includes the residence of the Patriarch, a monastery, a school of theology and academy, a hotel, and a grouping of nine chapels, with five of them situated underground. The architectural magnificence and cultural significance of the Holy Trinity Tsminda Sameba Cathedral make it a prominent symbol of both religious devotion and the new era in Georgia.

Chronicles of Georgia

Exploring the Chronicle of Georgia provides a unique perspective on Tbilisi. Also recognized as the History Memorial of Georgia or the Georgian Stonehenge, this monument serves as a captivating depiction of Georgian imperial history, renowned literary works, and the influential role of Christianity in the country.

Perched on Mount Keeni in the Temka neighborhood, overlooking the Tbilisi Sea, the Chronicle of Georgia is not only a cultural landmark but also offers breathtaking panoramic views. Positioned amidst the vibrant Soviet architecture on one side and the tranquil Tbilisi Sea on the other, the site provides a serene retreat from the bustling city crowds. The experience is particularly enchanting during sunset, making it an ideal destination to witness the beauty of Tbilisi from a distinctive vantage point.

Chronicles of Georgia

Day 3 Zhinvali, Ananuri, Gudauri, Kazbegi. Overnight in Kazbegi

Our journey today begins with a Gudauri tour, a road trip that spans approximately 3 hours. Our route will take us towards Ananuri.

On the road, we will make a stop at the Jinvali Water Reservoir, a hydroelectric dam situated on the Aragvi River. The reservoir, constructed in 1985 by the Soviet Union, serves as a crucial water supply system for the population of Tbilisi. Despite its tragic history hidden beneath its waters, the reservoir has become a popular tourist destination, known for its captivating landscape.

Continuing our exploration, we will visit the Ananuri Fortification Complex, an impressive castle complex located along the Aragvi River. Notably, in 2007, the complex was under consideration for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage site program.

Following our visit to Ananuri, our journey proceeds to Gudauri, where you will have free time with the option to partake in various activities such as paragliding. Having enjoyed our time in Gudauri, we will resume our journey to Stepatsminda, complete hotel check-in, and refresh for the adventures planned for the next day.

In Gudauri, the snowy months are December, January, February, and March.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Stepatsminda.

Day 4 Gergeti Trinity Church, Jvari, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral

Our day begins with an enriching exploration of the Gergeti Trinity Church, a testament to spiritual beauty. Next on our itinerary is the former capital of Georgia, Mtskheta, renowned for its historical churches that stand as exceptional examples of medieval religious architecture in the Caucasus region. Situated at the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari Rivers.

Our journey continues as we ascend to the mountain top to visit the magnificent Jvari Church, dating back to the 6th century AD. This iconic temple provides spectacular views of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, as well as the old capital, Mtskheta. The Jvari Church, characterized by its tetraconch architecture, featuring a round shape, four apses, and four niches, stands as a testament to Georgia's rich history and cultural heritage.

Day 5 Adventure in Kakheti – Bodbe, Sighnaghi, wine tasting

Did you know that wine is an integral part of our lives for Georgian people? This tour is an opportunity for you if you want to feel Georgia as a cradle of wine.

Our tour begins promptly at 9:00 AM with an exclusive visit to one of the region’s largest and most renowned wine factories. Here, you’ll have the distinct privilege of indulging in a sophisticated wine-tasting session, immersing yourself in the world of Georgian viticulture as you sample an array of premium wines expertly crafted by skilled artisans. This captivating introduction sets the stage for a day filled with sensory delights and cultural immersion.

Following this extraordinary experience, our journey continues to a picturesque village, where you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in the authentic flavors of Georgian cuisine.
